They are little blue jays and are indistinguishable from their fellows as they're all the same size, shape and color.

Blue Bird fall to the ground when Garth howls, until Lilly teaches him how to howl properly. Their main purpose seems to be comic effect.
Trivia[]
- Only one of the birds is named in the movie, whom Humphrey addresses in the line "Oh, hey Frank".
