Link and Lyle are two alpha wolves that appear in Alpha and Omega: The Legend of the Saw Tooth Cave. They are twin brothers, as mentioned by Tony. They serve as supporting characters in Alpha and Omega: The Legend of the Saw Tooth Cave and the supporting antagonists in Alpha and Omega: The Big Fureeze.

Appearance

Personality

They are said by other characters that their intelligence is low as they do dumb things. For example eating a whole snowball and getting a brain freeze. They do respect each other and use rhyming. They have gained a moto for themselves "If one of us gets hurt, there is always a spare."

Alpha and Omega: The Legend of the Saw Tooth Cave

They first appear in a flashback during Tony's story of when he first went to Saw Tooth cave. Tony orders them to go up and explore the cave, and they ask why he chose them, to which he replies that if one of them gets hurt, there will be a spare. Lyle and Link accept and go up the cave, but are frightened by the ghost inside and run back down. Frustrated, Tony goes up to the cave himself, only to also be scared by the ghost. They ventured back into the forest and two porcupines insulting them. They remembered the cave from their puppyhood. They find Runt eavesdropping on a conversation with two other wolves and tell him to go back to his cave. They ask him what he saw in the cave, Runts lies but Lyle gets suspicious and believes he is lying. They use the two others to witness what they saw in order to make their sighting true. They and the others run from the wolf ghost.

Alpha and Omega: The Big Fureeze

Lyle and Link betray their pack due a shortage of food and join King and Hench. They tell him that they are great hunters. Hench doubts their intelligence. They are temporarily used by King to do most of the work. They learn that King wants to kill the pups to which they understand that he wants revenge for the destruction of his pack. When they approach the bear cave they bet on who goes first using the "rock, paper, scissor game. Lyle wins but his brother tells him that since he won he has to go in. Lyle investigates the cave only to find it empty. Link and Lyle are later seen running out of the cave after they see a bear silhouette. They give chase to the pups bellyflopping down the mountain but are outwitted again as they didn't stay on the "straight and narrow." They find the pups again near a herd of caribou. They are later knocked out by Marcel’s golf balls.
