What killed the Fanon Wiki?

Hey everyone! I just adopted the Alpha and Omega Fanon Wiki and was curious about what killed it. I'm asking here because some users here used to be there. Im making an effort to revitalize that wiki. If someone can explain what happened to it and if any of you have any suggestions on how to revitalize it, please let me know.
